About the Martinist Order

The aim of Martinism is the reintegration of the individual with the Divine. It affirms and carries out the direct initiatory transmission from Initiator to initiate, from Louis-Claude de Saint-Martin until now, a transmission suitable for awakening the latent possibilities in each Man or Woman of Desire.

The Man or Woman of Desire is a person who has intuited the divine nature inherent in the human form, and who is driven to study the ways to make this intuition conscious by the Voie Cardiaque, the Way of the Heart. By undertaking the path of Reintegration, a Martinist works toward freeing themself from the conditioning and determinism inherent in the material nature of the human condition.

The Order further affirms that the one who receives the Initiatory Transmission, and the instructions attending it, is able to rise above the constriction of matter and penetrate the subtle worlds. However, membership in the Order is not available to all and the Principles of the Martinist Order must be understood and adhered to by everyone seeking admission.

PERSERVERANCE

Initiatory Succession

The filiation of The Martinist Order Under the Southern Cross (M:::O:::U:::S:::C:::) is through the so- called French line of Papus and Chaboseau, and from them back to Louis-Claude de Saint Martin (1743-1803), our founding figure.

The Order’s filiation comes through the first Grandmaster of M:::O:::U:::S:::C:::, Sar Corbenic.

Sar Corbenic received the highest Martinist Grades in Ghent, Belgium, and Nancy, France, in 2011 through the auspices of the Grand Loge Martiniste Initiatique: Ordre de Josue.
